For our customer Voith HySTech GmbH, we have developed a powerful manipulator capable of safely picking up, moving, and precisely positioning gas tanks weighing between 200 and 650 kg – all with minimal effort from the operator.
Voith HySTech GmbH combines decades of expertise as a producer of high-performance carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) components and a powertrain technology expert to manufacture safe and efficient high-pressure hydrogen storage systems for heavy-duty commercial vehicles (e.g., trucks). The goal is to pave the way for CO₂-free road freight transport – through certified Type IV H2 tanks, which are in demand worldwide.
