Prototypes are often created in manual single-unit production, in which experienced workers move a lot by hand. For series production this no longer works: unit numbers rise, cycle times must fall, and every step must be reproducible. It is precisely here that handling decides whether the series runs economically.


Manipulators and lift axes bring repeat accuracy into the process. They always guide the component the same way, regardless of which employee staffs the workstation. This is the prerequisite for constant quality in series production.

In defense technology, functional surfaces and tolerances are often critical. Sway-free handling protects the component from impacts and ensures that it is always fed in the same position.
