Practical example: generator housing for offshore turbines

A typical scenario from offshore manufacturing: a generator housing of around 900 kg has to be removed from processing, turned 180 degrees and guided to the assembly station. With crane and slings this takes several minutes, ties up two employees and is a safety risk with every turn.


With a ZH90 lift axis and a suitable turning device, a single worker performs the same task sway-free, faster and reproducibly.
