Large injection-molded parts, tools, molds and filled mesh boxes shape everyday work in plastics processing. Much of it is heavy, hot or sensitive. Anyone changing tools or removing components here needs a lifting aid that guides precisely and relieves the worker. Manipulator in injection molding: typical handling tasks
In plastics and injection-molding production, three task areas mainly arise: changing heavy injection-molding tools, removing and passing on large molded parts, and handling material containers and rolls. All three have in common that manual force quickly reaches its limits and precision is required.

Tool change at the injection-molding machine
Injection-molding tools are compact but very heavy. A manipulator or a lift axis positions the tool sway-free and with millimeter precision in front of the machine, which shortens setup times and reduces the risk of injury. Removal and handling of large molded parts
Large-volume injection-molded parts, such as bumpers, housings or containers, are bulky and partly surface-sensitive. An articulated manipulator with an adapted gripper or vacuum attachment removes them gently and guides them for further processing. For sensitive, smooth surfaces, the vacuum attachment is suitable, because it holds the load gently and over a large area without leaving pressure marks.
Material, rolls and containers
