You will be responsible for the entire IT infrastructure of a growing family business. At Zeilhofer in Holzkirchen, you will maintain servers, networks, and Windows environments, manage virtual server landscapes, and ensure the smooth operation of our 60-person team. About the company

Zeilhofer Handling Technology GmbH & Co. KG has been developing and manufacturing lifting aids, manipulators, and lifting axes for the manufacturing and automotive sectors for over 20 years. As a second-generation family-run company based in Holzkirchen in the Miesbach district, we are looking to expand our team.

Your tasks

  • Procurement of welded, turned and milled parts as well as assemblies from national and international suppliers

  • Obtaining, comparing and negotiating offers, as well as conducting price and contract negotiations.

  • Selection, evaluation and development of suppliers, building and maintenance of the supplier database

  • Deadline tracking and complaint management in case of delivery delays or quality deviations

  • Technical clarification of drawings, tolerances and manufacturing processes together with suppliers and design.

  • Market observation and identification of new sources of supply for special parts in mechanical engineering

  • Participation in make-or-buy decisions and cost optimization

Your profile

  • Completed technical or commercial training (e.g., technician, master craftsman, industrial clerk) with additional qualifications in purchasing, or alternatively, a technical or business administration degree.

  • Several years of professional experience in technical purchasing, ideally in special machine construction or plant engineering

  • A good understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes such as welding, turning, and milling.

  • Negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a confident demeanor when dealing with suppliers

  • Confident handling of ERP systems and MS Office

  • Independent, structured work style and teamwork skills
