Technical Writer (m/f/d)

You translate complex technology into understandable language. At Zeilhofer Handling Technology in Holzkirchen, you create operating, user, maintenance, and assembly instructions for our lifting aids and manipulators. You work closely with design, product management, and sales, and keep CE declarations of conformity up to date. Demanding products, clear processes, and plenty of room for your own ideas.

About the company

Zeilhofer Handling Technology GmbH & Co. KG has been developing and manufacturing lifting aids, manipulators, and lifting axes for the manufacturing and automotive sectors for over 20 years. As a second-generation family-run company based in Holzkirchen in the Miesbach district, we are looking to expand our team.

Your tasks

  • Independent creation and target group-oriented preparation of technical documentation such as operating, user, maintenance and assembly instructions.

  • Preparation and maintenance of declarations of conformity (CE) in coordination with the specialist departments.

  • Presentation of complex technical content in a clear and understandable form

  • Driving forward the development process of technical documentation and improving the workflow.

  • Collaboration with product management, marketing and sales

Your profile

  • Independent, structured and self-reliant work style

  • Editorial and technical understanding of complex products and systems

  • Several years of professional experience in the aforementioned field of work are desirable.

  • Teamwork and communication skills

The ZH90 lifting axis consists of heavy-duty, extruded, and patented aluminum profiles. Depending on customer requirements and specifications, the lifting movement in the Z-direction can be pneumatic, electropneumatic, or electric. Together with a customer-specific fixture and the corresponding control system, the ZH90 lifting axis can be used manually, collaboratively, or fully automatically.
